Mara Alper is an artist on and off the page with a devotion to motion that manifests in her video art and documentaries and her love of dance. Dance is her main source of energy, be it from Haiti, Africa, Brazil, Bali, or India along with swing, lindy hop, salsa and tango. She is Associate Professor at Ithaca College, where she teaches video production, post-production, motion graphics and animation.
