i came to vancouver in december 1996, by way of london, new york, waregem and velanne, to take my writing seriously.

teaching has been my passion and, along with writing, continuum movement and living, is my spiritual practice.

i live in the friendly neighbourhood of east vancouver and teach creative writing courses at emily carr, sfu and heartquest on the drive.
